Spine Surgery


Dr. Carll join Texas Spine Consultants, LLP, in 2008. He completed a one-year spine fellowship under the tutelage of Drs. Andrew Park and Robert Viere. Dr. Carll came to Dallas with an already impressive academic background. As an undergraduate at The Citadel, he finished first in his class. He then received his medical degree cum laude in 2003 from the University of Florida where he was also inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. After graduating, Dr. Carll stayed at the University of Florida for five more years to continue his training with a special focus in minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Carll is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the North American Spine Society, Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society. He also serves on the fellow review committee for the Interactive Educational Program for Spine Surgeons.

Dr. Carll’s approach is conservative, personal and individualized. He strives to give his patients a thorough understanding of their condition and all of their treatment options. Dr.Carll has been recognized with the Patients Choice Award from 2011-2013, an honor bestowed on physicians who have received near perfect scores, as voted by their patients. He has been recognized on Super Doctors Rising Stars’ from 2011-2013.
