Description

Dr. Brodsky is a native of Houston, Texas. After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University, he earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine Hospitals in Houston, Texas. He did a one year Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Los Angeles, California, at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center, and The Orthopaedic Hospital, at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Brodsky is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, having been board-certified, and re-certified in orthopaedic surgery. He is an active member of numerous local, state, and national medical associations, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He was elected to the American Orthopaedic Association in 2001

In addition to patient care and teaching duties, he maintains a busy schedule of clinical and basic research, and is a frequently invited speaker in the field of Foot and Ankle Surgery, nationally and internationally. He has published numerous scientific articles and is a contributing author of many medical and surgical textbooks in the fields of Surgery of the Foot and Ankle, and of diabetic foot problems.
